Thorgan Hazard (33) has officially returned to RC Lens after signing a two-year contract with the Ligue 1 team.
The Belgium international began his career at Lens, where he made 16 first-team appearances. In the summer of 2012, he transferred to Chelsea, following in his brother’s footsteps after he moved from Lille OSC. Throughout his career, Hazard has played for clubs such as Zulte Waregem, Borussia Monchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund, PSV Eindhoven, and RSC Anderlecht, where he has been playing since 2023. In the last season, he featured in 46 matches for the Belgian club, scoring 15 goals and contributing 11 assists.

With his contract expiring at the end of the previous season, Hazard chose not to renew and made the switch to Lens, who are set to compete in the UEFA Champions League next year. His contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2028. Thorgan becomes Les Sang et Or’s second summer signing, following Michael Cuisance.
