Mancini Extends Contract…

AS Roma is actively working to finalize contract extensions for Gianluca Mancini and Bryan Cristante.

The contracts of the two Giallorossi players are set to expire in 2027, but the club aims to expedite the renewal process to fend off interest from other teams.

Agreements have been reached between the involved parties; only signatures and official announcements are pending.

According to reports from Gianlucadimarzio.com, the defender and the midfielder will have different end dates for their new contracts. Mancini is expected to remain with the club until 2029, while Cristante is set for a contract that will keep him until 2028. Should there be a decision to extend these contracts further, negotiations will need to be reinitiated.

Cristante and Mancini are on track to etch their names in Roma’s history. Cristante has already entered the top 10 for appearances, currently tied with Masetti at 364 games. With this new contract, he could potentially surpass Giuseppe Giannini’s 435 appearances, putting him in sixth place. Mancini, on the other hand, is currently in 16th place with 319 appearances, but he is still in the running for the top 10. If he secures his position as a starting player for an extended period, he may even eclipse some of Roma’s legendary figures. If a renewal is finalized, Lorenzo Pellegrini may also aspire to join the ranks of his idols, although he still has some way to go to catch up with the legends of the club.
