Here are some of your reactions:

Sam: Excited about this signing and eager to see what Johan contributes. Our transfer activity is starting to mirror our strategy when we sold Jack Grealish — acquiring players before major sales. I have a feeling this could mean that Morgan Rogers might not return post-World Cup, which worries me.

Simon: A solid signing. While it’s unfortunate to see Tielemans depart, that’s simply the nature of modern football. Gomes is another good addition, especially after losing Onana for the season. This season looks challenging, and I envision some struggles ahead. Nevertheless, I have faith in Unai! UTV!

Phil: I’m left feeling underwhelmed by this signing. We are swapping proven Premier League talent for a gamble on a younger player from a mid-tier club in a very different league.

Rob: It’s premature to form any conclusions. We can expect more arrivals and potentially one significant departure to appease the PSR vultures. There are rumors about Joao Palhinha joining on loan and Pervis Estupinan, assuming Lucas Digne moves to PSG. This could further enhance our squad, especially with Boubacar Kamara and Alysson returning to fitness, alongside several promising young talents ready to step up, the upcoming season looks promising.
