West Bromwich Albion’s head coach, James Morrison, expressed optimism about the club’s transfer activities, stating that they are “in a good place” and will take a measured approach to future signings as the transfer window progresses.
This summer, the Baggies have welcomed six new players as Morrison prepares for his first complete season in charge.

The campaign kicks off on Saturday with a Carabao Cup match against Rotherham, followed by the start of Championship play the following week.
“We’re in a good place. As a club, we need to be patient and seek out the right players,” he told BBC Radio WM.
“Attracting talented players generates excitement. I want to bring in quality players to foster a positive atmosphere and invigorate our fans.”

Morrison noted his collaboration with head of football operations Ian Pearce, indicating satisfaction with their progress.
“It’s about fostering strong working relationships, considering diverse viewpoints, and pinpointing the types of players we need. I’ve been really pleased with our collaborative efforts,” he remarked.
The most recent addition to the squad is Norwegian midfielder Felix Horn Myhre, a player Morrison has had his eye on for some time.
“I highlighted him due to his movement, ball control, and attacking capabilities,” Morrison stated.
“He’s been on our radar for quite a while, has experience competing in Europe and international matches, and he will integrate seamlessly into our setup.”
