Roma is facing increased competition for Real Madrid prodigy Endrick, with Spanish media reporting that Aston Villa has joined the race to secure the Brazilian forward on loan.
Initially, the Giallorossi were seen as the frontrunners to sign Endrick, contingent upon Real Madrid’s willingness to agree to a loan arrangement, similar to that of Franco Mastantuono during his loan to Fiorentina.

They were optimistic that their Champions League participation and commitment to providing regular playing time would give them an edge in securing his services.

However, reports from Diario AS indicate that Aston Villa has made an approach for Endrick as well.
The young striker is open to being loaned out, as his time with Olympique Lyonnais was instrumental in securing his place in the 2026 World Cup squad under Carlo Ancelotti, where he netted eight goals and provided seven assists in just 21 appearances.

Real Madrid acquired Endrick for €35 million from Palmeiras two years ago, with an additional €25 million in potential add-ons.

During any potential loan, Real Madrid would cover a portion of his €5 million annual salary, making it feasible for Roma, which would otherwise struggle to afford it.
