Elliot Stroud, the latest addition to Hull City, is eager to help the club “create something magical” as they make their return to the Premier League.
The Tigers confirmed the acquisition of the Sweden international from Allsvenskan club Mjallby AIF for an undisclosed fee on Sunday.
Stroud, 24, has signed a four-year contract with an option for an additional year.
He played an integral role in Sweden’s journey to the 2026 World Cup, appearing in all four matches, and boasts an impressive record of 28 goals and 14 assists during his three-and-a-half-year tenure at Mjallby.
“I am absolutely thrilled and can’t wait to get started here. The moment I heard of the interest, it was my top priority,” Stroud stated regarding his move.
“After speaking with the Chairman, my impression of the club and its surroundings only grew stronger.
“I have personal aspirations to compete at the highest level. An opportunity like this is not to be taken lightly, and doing it here in Hull is truly exciting.
“Playing in the Premier League has always been a dream of mine. I am incredibly excited about this chance and hope to help create something special this season.”
