Real Betis 2-0 Lyon

Real Betis maintained their unbeaten league phase with a convincing 2-0 victory over Lyon. Ez Abde opened the scoring in the 60th minute, finishing off a flick-on from Cedric Bakambu. Just five minutes later, Antony extended the lead with a delicate chip over former Mallorca goalkeeper Dominik Greif, marking his third goal in two matches.

Although Abde had a chance to score again in the second half, it ultimately didn’t impact the result. This win positions Betis ninth in the standings at the halfway stage of the league phase, with two victories and two draws in their four matches. They will look forward to their upcoming match against Valencia on Sunday, the last before the November international break.

Dinamo Zagreb 0-3 Celta Vigo

Celta Vigo achieved their fifth consecutive victory with an impressive win over Dinamo Zagreb, scoring all three goals in the first half. Pablo Duran scored twice, sandwiching an own goal by former Barcelona defender Sergi Dominguez.

This result means Celta has won their last three Europa League matches, recovering well after their initial defeat against Stuttgart. Claudio Giraldez’s squad is in excellent form and will look to extend their winning streak to six across all competitions when they host a struggling Barcelona at Balaidos on Sunday evening.
