Despite Ivan Juric claiming that the touchline dispute with Ademola Lookman has been settled, the Nigerian forward has unfollowed the club and deleted all related posts from his social media accounts.

The disagreement arose when Lookman was substituted during the second half of the Champions League match against Olympique Marseille.

Lookman appeared frustrated with the substitution, prompting Juric to react by grabbing his arm and shouting at him. Lookman was about to respond but was led away to the bench by team staff.

Ongoing Tensions between Lookman and Juric

“These things happen. We communicate, share perspectives, and ultimately, the relationship improves. Ademola is a unique character. It’s all settled; we just move forward,” Juric stated during a recent press conference when asked about the incident.

However, Lookman seems to have taken a different stance, opting to unfollow Atalanta on Instagram and erasing all posts involving the club from his profile.

This isn’t Lookman’s first instance of such action; he previously did the same when he expressed discontent over the club’s refusal to sell him to Inter for less than €50 million.

Lookman previously went missing from pre-season training for several weeks, only returning when Inter ceased negotiations and no other acceptable offers materialized.

The situation has always been tense, and it is likely that Lookman will seek another exit during the January transfer window.
