Bristol City forward Sinclair Armstrong has made the move to Turkish club Goztepe for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old joined Bristol City from Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2024, going on to make a total of 83 appearances for the Robins, including 45 last season, while scoring seven goals.
He has signed a four-year contract with Goztepe at Gursel Aksel Stadium, with the possibility of a one-year extension.
“Everyone at Bristol City wishes Sinclair and everyone associated with him the very best as he embarks on this new chapter in his football career,” said Bristol City sporting director James Ellis. “We will be following his progress from afar and thank him for his contributions in a City shirt.”
A Republic of Ireland international, Armstrong has earned one cap for his country, playing against the Netherlands in 2024.
Last season, Goztepe finished sixth in the Turkish Super Lig, just missing out on European competition, and is owned by Sport Republic, who also hold an 80% stake in Bristol City’s rivals, Southampton.
