Today marks the start of the fourth week of preseason training for the new Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho. Over the first three weeks, the Merengues have engaged in two training matches and played their initial friendly of the summer against Fiorentina, which concluded in a 2-2 draw.
As of now, the Portuguese manager is still missing several players who participated in the World Cup. Notably, Arda Guler was the first to return to training, arriving at Valdebebas during the second week of preseason. Additional players have continued to rejoin the squad in the following weeks.
According to reports from Diario AS, three more World Cup participants reported for training today. The highlight among them was Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva, who met his new teammates and coach. Joining him were Vinicius Junior and Brahim Diaz, all of whom underwent medical checks before participating in the training session.
Before Silva’s arrival, two other new signings—Denzel Dumfries and Carlos Espi—joined the team during this summer. Remaining players who have already signed but have yet to connect with the club are Ibrahima Konate and Marc Cucurella. Among these five new signings, only Espi has yet to be officially registered with La Liga.
While Silva undoubtedly garnered significant attention as a newcomer, Vinicius’s situation also raises interest. With just one year remaining on his contract with Real Madrid, he is expected to reopen discussions regarding a renewal following his return from the World Cup and his vacation. Notably, Arsenal is reportedly keeping a close watch on his situation.

Additionally, Brahim Diaz will be eager to impress Jose Mourinho and secure his place in the squad, especially with increased competition for both the right wing and attacking midfield roles next season.
