Chalobah Joins Como:…

Reports indicate that Como has finalized an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Trevoh Chalobah, with the deal worth €30 million, potentially rising to €36 million with add-ons, for the England defender.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Chalobah is expected to arrive in Italy for his medical examination either Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.

Negotiations had been prolonged, especially after Inter Milan pulled out of the race for Chalobah, as both Serie A clubs had previously agreed to avoid conflicting interest over this player.

Chelsea insisted on a €30 million fixed fee for the transfer, which ultimately led Como to meet their asking price.

As reported by Calciomercato, additional performance-related bonuses could total up to €6 million, along with a portion of any future sale proceeds.

Chalobah, who recently turned 27, was part of the England squad that secured a bronze medal at the 2026 World Cup held across the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Having risen through the ranks of Chelsea’s youth academy, he has had loan spells with clubs including Ipswich Town, Huddersfield, Lorient, and Crystal Palace.

Como was competing in Serie B just two years ago but has made remarkable progress under coach Cesc Fabregas, qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in club history.
