Juventus has announced that Damien Comolli has departed from the club by mutual agreement, and he will be succeeded by former Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali, who will take on the roles of Chief Executive Officer and General Manager.
This management shake-up at Juventus sees the replacement of French director Comolli with Carnevali.

Comolli joined the Bianconeri a year ago as General Manager and was promoted to CEO in November 2025.
Growing tensions with head coach Luciano Spalletti, despite him signing a new contract until 2028 in April, contributed to Comolli’s exit.
Disagreements surrounding transfer strategies ultimately led to his departure, which was confirmed in an extraordinary board of directors meeting on Friday morning.
Juventus issued a statement confirming Comolli’s exit by mutual consent.
He will be replaced by Carnevali, who has been the CEO of Sassuolo since 2014.

Carnevali’s new role at Juventus includes serving as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager.
After finishing the 2025-26 season in sixth place, Juventus will participate in the Europa League next season.
