Eastleigh, a club in the National League, has secured the loan signing of Harry Sidwell, a midfielder from AFC Wimbledon, for the remainder of the season. The 20-year-old recently signed a new one-year contract with Wimbledon that includes an option for an additional year.
Harry is the son of former Premier League midfielder Steve Sidwell, who played for teams such as Reading, Chelsea, Fulham, and Aston Villa. So far, Harry has made one first-team appearance for Wimbledon and has previously spent time on loan at Enfield Town, Dagenham & Redbridge, and Dorking Wanderers.
In a statement on Eastleigh’s official website, Sidwell expressed his ambitions, saying, “I want to perform at my best for the team, help us finish as high as possible in the league, contribute with goals and assists, and carry out my defensive responsibilities.”
