The striker is currently in the United States representing England at the World Cup and is prioritizing a move to a club competing in the Champions League, where he scored five goals in 11 appearances last season.
This focus on Champions League football puts Tottenham, another interested party, lower on his list of potential destinations for the continent’s premier tournament.
However, a significant hurdle in the negotiations is Rashford’s considerable salary of €8.4 million net per year, which has led Roma to turn down the initial offer. This hefty figure also appears to be discouraging interest from other teams in Serie A.
