Hamburg to Announce Next…

According to Kicker, Hamburg is poised to announce their second summer signing within just three days. Following the addition of Patson Daka, the club is set to welcome Moroccan midfielder Bilal Nadir, who has successfully undergone his medical. The 22-year-old is expected to boost the midfield competition, complementing head coach Merlin Polzin’s preference for a three-midfielder setup in his late-season 3-4-1-2 formation.

Will Hamburg add another striker?

It seems likely. The quest for more direct attacking options may take a temporary pause. As reported by Kicker, 19-year-old Germany U19 international Otto Stange is heading to camp after shortening his summer break to compete for a starting role.

As noted in a previous Get German Football News article, the Hanseatic club hasn’t entirely ruled out the possibility of securing top scorer Fabio Vieira from Arsenal for another season. At the very least, Stange will have ample opportunity to impress as training camp in Längenfeld unfolds.
