Following Juventus’ acquisition of Zeki Celik, the transfer rivalry with Roma is poised to intensify with Juventus plotting an approach for free agent Lorenzo Pellegrini. In response, Roma may consider making a move for Khephren Thuram.
Celik appeared set to sign a new contract at the Stadio Olimpico, with paperwork ready to go, but unexpectedly chose to join Juventus instead.

Recent reports suggest that Juventus is not finished yet, as they aim to persuade midfielder Pellegrini to leave Roma for the Old Lady.
Pellegrini is also a free agent after the conclusion of this season and is currently in talks regarding a new contract.
According to Sport Mediaset, Roma is not likely to sit idly by and could respond with an offer for Juve’s Thuram, especially if they sell Manu Kone to Manchester United for €60 million.
