Middlesbrough manager Kim Hellberg expressed his enthusiasm for new recruits Will Lankshear and Kyle Joseph following the team’s pre-season 3-3 draw against Espanyol.
The two strikers were signed this summer with the goal of enhancing Boro’s scoring capabilities after a challenging season where they struggled with finishing.

“Will is fantastic as a striker; he’s agile and versatile,” Hellberg shared with BBC Radio Tees. “Kyle brings great speed to the team.”
“Last season, it was clear that we had difficulties finding the back of the net. We created more clear chances than any other team, and it’s essential that we improve our finishing.”
“I’m eager to continue working with both Kyle and Will. They both possess excellent attributes and are committed individuals motivated to develop further.”
