However, recent shifts in Barcelona’s transfer strategy have significantly altered the landscape.
As reported by Gialuigi Longari, negotiations between Monaco and Jorge Mendes have progressed rapidly, and an agreement is believed to be imminent.
Should the deal be finalized, Barcelona can expect to receive approximately €11 million from the French club.
