Nick Powell has officially signed a one-year contract to remain with Bradford City for the upcoming season.
The 32-year-old midfielder joined the Bantams from Stockport County last summer. Last season, he participated in 14 matches but was sidelined for six months due to a hamstring injury.
During pre-season, he has been in excellent form, netting goals in friendly matches against Halifax Town, SV Gmunden, Preston North End, and Salford City, proving his worth for a new contract.
Bradford manager Graham Alexander commented: “Nick’s commitment to return in pre-season and demonstrate his capabilities has shown his determination to everyone here.”
