Mohamed Salah’s lawyer, Ramy Abass, has dismissed rumors suggesting that the former Liverpool forward is on the verge of joining Besiktas.
Journalist Santi Aouna reported that Besiktas has reached a verbal agreement to sign the Egyptian attacker.

Salah is reportedly preparing to sign a one-year contract with an option for an additional year, with an estimated salary of around €12 million (£10 million), including bonuses.
However, Abass has raised questions about these assertions. He stated on X: “I personally do not know where Mohamed will play next season. What does that tell you?”
Salah’s Potential Move to Besiktas
Respected Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu has supported Aouna’s report.
However, Sabuncuoglu mentions that Salah and Besiktas are still negotiating terms related to contract duration and image rights.
Abass’s comments indicate that the deal may not be as advanced as Aouna claimed, leaving the possibility of a transfer to Besiktas still open.

Besiktas aims to bridge the gap with Turkish league champions Galatasaray by acquiring experienced players.
They have identified Salah as a key target after securing a deal for Leandro Trossard from Arsenal.
Salah had announced his intention to depart Liverpool in March following a disagreement with former manager Arne Slot.
He has also been connected with a switch to Major League Soccer, with Sporting Kansas City expressing interest in signing him.
