We want to hear your thoughts on whether selling Enzo Fernandez is a good decision for Chelsea following reports from BBC Sport. Would his departure be a significant loss?
Here are some of your responses:

Colin: Not surprised. Top players want to compete at a high level, and the club (and many teammates) have let him down. If an offer exceeds £120m, it’s a smart business move that could give Xabi Alonso resources to improve the squad. I’d prefer if others left instead, but sometimes realism is necessary.
Sammy: Enzo has been our standout player this season, demonstrating leadership and skill in challenging matches. If he leaves, he will be greatly missed because I don’t think anyone can replace him. Finding players like Sandro Tonali or Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle would be quite hard, and neither would be a direct substitution for Enzo. I can’t blame him for wanting to leave after such a disappointing season.
Daniel: It’s a complicated situation. Thank you, Enzo, for your goals and assists. I want players at Chelsea who are committed. This wasn’t common during the Roman Abramovich era, but sadly it seems more likely now. We’re not viewed as a ‘big club’ anymore.
Peter: It took him two years to showcase his value, which isn’t truly reflective of £107m. Now that he is starting to show potential, it’s evident he may not be fully invested in the club. If we receive £90m or more, it’s wise to let him go—but not to Manchester City.

George: If Fernandez wants to move, we should accommodate him at a fair price. I’d prefer players eager to represent Chelsea than someone who is dissatisfied. We don’t need another embarrassing performance like the one against Sunderland.
Phillip: The Chelsea model is ineffective. A group of undeniably talented young players require veteran guidance. The absence of experienced leaders—a major deficiency—leaves us vulnerable, as highlighted by players like Marc Cucurella, Fernandez, Cole Palmer, and others wishing to leave, as they see little chance of success in our current setup. This isn’t complex; the owners are simply out of touch.
Paul: Enzo is undoubtedly one of the best midfielders today and possesses an all-around game. Yet, if he doesn’t wish to be with Chelsea and contribute to our resurgence, then he should be sold for the highest possible price and we should reinvest in proven leaders and experienced players—not merely promising youngsters.
Chris: Let’s offload him, along with Roberto Sanchez, Wesley Fofana, Andrey Santos, Liam Delap and other high-cost players who don’t meet the club’s expectations. We need seasoned players who are committed to Chelsea and ready to revive our legacy!
