SKN St. Pölten also triumphed, defeating the favorites Sporting CP. Should Pölten qualify, it will mark their fifth consecutive season at the elite level of European football.
The draw for the next UWCL qualification stage is set for Tuesday, August 11. The winners from the nine ties will join the nine clubs that are directly qualified for the league phase, while the nine losing teams will move on to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup.
